I have been posting a whole lot of babies lately and I love babies!!! But I don't only take pictures of babies, so I wanted to share an engagement session. Sam and Ernie are the perfect all American couple. Ernie is the hot fire fighter and Same is the gorgeous school teacher. It was really hard to narrow down which to choose. I can't wait to watch their family grow and take pictures of their beautiful babies.

Happy Birthday Cousin Zoe!!!
This cutie pie is my cousin's daughter. I live around the corner from Zoe's day care, so one day I rushed over there and spent ten minutes taking some photos of her, so I could make a canvas of them for Zoe's first birthday. I have to say that was by far the most fun I have ever had watching someone open up a gift from me. Somehow after a half hour of opening gifts, my gift was the last one to be opened. By the time Amy (Zoe's mom) got to my gift, everyone was starting to get restless, but the reaction the gift received was priceless. When my cousin opened it she squealed and started crying. Normally, I hate to make anyone cry, but I love love love happy tears. Here is the canvas I made for Amy and Zoe. Love you Amy and Zoe.

Blue Eyed Alex
I took pictures of Alex's mother when he was still in her tummy. If you scroll through my blog, you can see those as well. We took his one year photos at the same place we took his mom's maternity photos. The kid LOVES the camera and the camera loves him. Not to mention I love his family!!!

I also had the extra special privileged to celebrate with Alex at his one year birthday party. His mother did a wonderful job. Here are all the fun details from the party.

Brown Eyed Girl
I can't believe how fast time flies. I took Araceli's pictures when she was first born. At her one year birthday, I was a week away from going into labor, so I could not take her one year photos. I was so excited when I got the opportunity to take pictures of her at one and a half. Araceli was so playful. Her dad pulled out her favorite toy, which is his classic car and she lit up.

Hunter
When Hunter was a month old I took pictures of this little peanut. A year later I got to see him all grown up into a coconut. Now that I have a daughter I truly appreciate how fast the first year really goes. I loved all of Hunters different expressions during our session.

Henry
Henry is at that perfect age where he is laughing, smiling and sitting up, but he hasn't quite started crawling yet, so he can't get away. When he can start moving his parents are going to get their exercise. Henry was curious about everything around him, my camera, his dad's watch, the bucket. He is going to be quite the explorer when he gets a little older.

Happy Valentine's Day
I loved this 3 month old little girl's dress. I wish I could find it in my size so I could buy it. She is a fabulous model. I can't wait to do another session with her when she is six months old.
I love how serious she is.
But I was also so excited to get a smile.
My little model needs a quick nap break.

I designed this Valentine for her parents so they could send a Valentine to their family in Washington. After receiving this card, I think her grandparents will be on the first plane out here to visit her. She won't be missing them for very long.
